Beatrice Hsu is principal, BCH Group, where she advises clients on real estate investments, development and offers advisory services. She was recently the Interim CEO and President of the Board of the Los Angeles World Airports, where she was responsible for operating revenues and overall operations of Los Angeles International (LAX) and Van Nuys (VNY) airports.
With more than 24 years of combined experience in development, and operation commercial real estate, housing, and aviation and transportation facilities, Ms. Hsu was also Strategic Advisor and Executive Vice President Development for Brookfield Properties’ Commercial Development Group, with oversight of urban residential and mixed-use development projects throughout California and Hawaii. Prior to this, Ms. Hsu was Senior Vice President, Development & Forward Planning for Related Companies, a full-service real estate firm specializing in urban infill development including affordable housing, mixed income housing, public-private projects and commercial mixed-use development. Her early experience included work on policy issues at the municipal (City of Los Angeles) and state (State of California) levels.
She has extensive board experience, including service on the Planning Program Advisory Board of the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, and as an appointee to the City of Los Angeles Industrial Development Authority. Ms. Hsu has been twice recognized by Bisnow as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in LA Commercial Real Estate and named one of 50 Women to Watch for Boards. Ms. Hsu holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Yale University. Ms. Hsu brings to the board extensive experience in commercial real estate development, strategic planning, government affairs and executive management.
